The short version
- Camera video is processed entirely on your iPhone. It is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
- Your workout history, profile, and settings are stored on your device.
- RepProof has no accounts, no servers, no ads, and no trackers.
- We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
Camera
RepProof uses your front camera to detect body position during workouts so it can count reps and judge range of motion. Frames are analyzed in memory on your device using Apple's Vision framework and are immediately discarded. No video or images are saved or sent off the device.
Health data (optional)
If you grant permission, RepProof saves completed workouts to Apple Health and reads heart rate and active energy recorded during your workouts (for example, from an Apple Watch) to display alongside your session. Health data is only read to show you your own information inside the app. It is never transmitted off your device by RepProof. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Workout and profile data
Your profile (name, goals, equipment), workout history, rep scores, and check-ins are stored in a local database on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes this data. You can also export your workout data or delete your history from Settings inside the app.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. RepProof never sees your payment details. Subscription status is verified through Apple's StoreKit system.
Analytics and crash reports
RepProof does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If you opt in to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide us aggregated, anonymized crash reports through App Store Connect.
Children
RepProof is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the app will show the updated policy and the date above will change.
