Brenen Morse is a Columbus, Ohio-based restaurant operator, CPA, founder, and author. His work connects hospitality leadership with practical tools for people starting careers and building businesses.
A career can look scattered when viewed as a list of jobs and side projects. For Brenen Morse, the connecting thread is simpler: build systems that help people do better work, and build leaders who help other people grow.

Brenen grew up around restaurants. He recalls running a register at his family's café near Ohio State when he was nine years old. The early experience stayed with him: a restaurant is a place where service, people, details, and decisions collide in real time.
His family has operated restaurants across several concepts and college communities, including businesses in Ohio, North Carolina, and Tennessee. That background informs his practical view of management and hospitality.
He graduated with honors from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business, studying Accounting and Operations Management. He then worked in Global Finance at JPMorgan Chase and in consulting at Deloitte, including work connected to Department of Defense projects. Brenen has been a licensed CPA since 2014.
Brenen serves as president of Brenz Pizza Co., focusing on restaurant operations, leadership development, systems, culture, and growth. Restaurant leadership, to him, is more than setting standards on paper: it means building habits that still hold during a busy shift.
Brenz Pizza Co. is an operating business where he serves in a leadership role; it is distinct from the projects featured through Pathfinders Ventures.
Working in restaurants exposed recurring problems that aren't limited to restaurants: how young people find their first jobs, how employers recruit, how new workers present their abilities, and how managers turn good intentions into consistent habits. That experience led Brenen to build straightforward tools rather than leave those problems as recurring complaints.

He also created Leadership Rhythm, a mobile tool for developing management habits, and educational business projects such as the Pizza Game.
The common philosophy: make complex things useful. A good system should be understandable enough to use, not just impressive enough to present.
